Job summary

Cohesity is seeking an SLED/Public Healthcare Account Executive in the United States to grow a defined territory, prospect, build pipeline, and close opportunities in the public sector. You will work with state, local, and education customers, aligning Cohesity’s AI-powered data security solutions to protect critical data and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience selling into Information Security / Cybersecurity teams and aligning solutions to security and risk requirements.
• Experience selling into SLED/Public Sector accounts with knowledge of government procurement processes, contract vehicles, and funding cycles.
• Familiarity with public sector compliance and security frameworks (FedRAMP, StateRAMP, CJIS, NIST, or similar).
• Customer-focused mindset with strong interest in cybersecurity and data protection, especially ransomware and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Execute a territory plan focused on net-new logo acquisition and account growth across a defined set of SLED/Public Sector accounts.
• Build, manage, and progress a qualified sales pipeline, including opportunities sourced directly and those supported through channel partners.
• Work within complex public sector organizations, identifying stakeholders, building relationships, and engaging with senior decision-makers.
• Lead customer engagements through discovery, evaluation, proposal development, and solution alignment with guidance from Sales Engineers and leadership.
• Develop and deliver clear, value-based proposals connecting Cohesity's platform to customer security, resilience, and compliance needs.
• Navigate public sector procurement cycles, including RFP/RFI responses, contract vehicles, and purchasing frameworks.
