Job summary

Elastic seeks a Public Sector Account Executive to grow our presence in Tennessee and Mississippi, focusing on SLED accounts. You will drive AI-powered search adoption, articulate value, and nurture Open Source engagements while collaborating with cross-functional teams to win complex enterprise deals.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in tech sales, Government experience in TN/MS, and a proven ability to forecast with SFDC.

Qualifications

5–10 years selling technology solutions, with focus on Enterprise Search, Log Analytics, Security, APM, and Cloud.
Experience in State and Local Government sales, preferably in Tennessee and Mississippi.
Strong solution selling ability and ability to articulate technology value to customers.
High energy, strong work ethic, adaptable to changing environments.
Consistent and accurate sales forecasting using SFDC.

Responsibilities

Drive adoption of AI-powered search solutions within new Enterprise accounts and deepen engagement with existing Strategic accounts.
Position yourself as a trusted advisor, helping users harness Elastic's search analytics to derive insights.
Nurture Open Source offerings, articulating value and capabilities of commercial features.
Identify and develop new use cases, showcasing Elastic’s solutions to improve efficiency and intelligence.
Collaborate with Elastic functions to ensure a great customer experience and navigate complex sales cycles.
