Cohere is hiring a VP of Sales - Public Sector to drive year-over-year revenue growth across North America. You will develop enterprise-grade PUBSEC strategies, coach a high-performing sales team, and coordinate with Marketing, Product, and Engineering to align efforts with company goals.

You will engage with government clients, regulators, and prime contractors, leveraging an established network to win complex deals and expand Cohere’s public sector footprint.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of PUBSEC sales and leadership experience leading go-to-market efforts for fast paced technology organizations.
• Established network including federal agencies, prime contractors, and industry associations.
• Proven track record leading capture and sales for consultative solutions and business development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and lead a comprehensive go-to-market growth strategy and sales plan for the Public Sector.
• Provide sales and operational leadership to Cohere’s PUBSEC sales team and align with company priorities.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, and Engineering to synchronize sales with broader goals.
• Represent Cohere at PUBSEC events, conferences, and with regulators and government agencies.
• Manage relationships with government decision-makers and partners to pursue new opportunities and close high-value deals.
• Collaborate with global teams to strengthen anchor relationships and establish best practices.
