Job summary

Sierra is seeking an Agent Strategist for the Public Sector team to drive how AI agents are brought to life for government clients. You’ll operate at the intersection of product, agent building, and customer outcomes, translating complex requirements into reliable, scalable deployments.

You will partner with agency executives and program leaders to define success, prioritize opportunities, and shape an AI strategy grounded in mission impact, working with diverse teams to keep deployments moving

Qualifications

• Ownership and delivery track record leading complex, high-visibility initiatives.
• Comfort engaging with technical concepts, reading API docs, and evaluating tradeoffs.
• Commitment to public sector work and improving outcomes for communities served.
• Clear and persuasive communication across executive, policy, and technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to break down complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from scope to production with design translation.
• Advise public sector leaders to define success and shape AI strategy.
• Run cross-functional sessions with program, operations, technology, security, legal, and procurement.
• Develop roadmaps for new use cases, multilingual access, and multi-step journeys.
• Influence Sierra's roadmap, market strategy, and repeatable government solutions.
