AlphaSense is seeking an experienced government sales professional to establish the first boots on the ground in the public sector. You will open doors at federal and agency levels, build a pipeline from scratch, and convert early interest into direct deals in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience selling into federal or public sector agencies and understanding buying processes.
• Knowledge of procurement vehicles and budget cycles.
• Experience starting from zero pipeline or building one-to-one.

Responsibilities

• Be the first AlphaSense presence at priority agencies and generate pipeline from scratch.
• Manage end-to-end sales: research, prospect, demo, trials, and close.
• Navigate agency buying processes and procurement vehicles; collaborate with partners when compliant.
• Follow up on inbound government interest and expand wins against legacy providers.
• Partner with SDRs, Marketing and sales leadership to create prospecting plans.
• Forecast accurately and develop pipeline to meet or exceed quota.
• Collaborate with Product Specialists during trials and with Account Management for renewal and upsell.
