Job summary

AlphaSense is seeking an Account Executive to build and lead government and public-sector sales across the United States. This role requires navigating federal buying processes, crafting new pipelines, and closing multi-million dollar opportunities as the first dedicated seller in this vertical.

You will engage agencies, manage demos and trials, and collaborate with partners like Carahsoft to drive adoption of our AI-powered market intelligence platform, with a competitive compensation plan

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience selling into federal or public sector agencies.
• Agency relationships with priority agencies are a plus.
• Familiarity with government channel partners (e.g., Carahsoft) is a strong plus.
• Strong value-based selling fundamentals and the ability to articulate ROI.

Responsibilities

• Be the first AlphaSense presence at priority agencies and generate pipeline from scratch.
• Own end-to-end sales process from research to close.
• Navigate procurement processes and work with partners when milestones are met.
• Follow up on inbound government interest and convert to expansions.
• Forecast and build the necessary pipeline to meet quotas.
• Collaborate with Product Specialists and Account Management to ensure client success.
