Job summary

ODP Business Solutions seeks an Account Executive for the Public Sector in the Chicago area. The role develops new customers in the local market through prospecting, relationship-building, and consultative selling, with travel to client sites as needed.

You will partner with implementation, sales support, and product specialists to drive revenue growth, manage the territory, and maintain an accurate Salesforce pipeline. In-office collaboration at Itasca, IL is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in a local market or territory.
• Proven ability to build relationships and close deals.
• Experience with consultative selling and needs analysis.

Responsibilities

• New Account Acquisition: identify, prospect, and close new business in the local market.
• Relationship Building & Market Development: expand relationships and forecast activity.
• Territory & CRM Management: manage territory planning and pipeline in Salesforce.
• Sales Leadership & Collaboration: share best practices with internal teams and drive revenue.
