Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a high-performing Technical Field Services Manager to lead post-sales technical services teams, overseeing Field Engineers responsible for install, deployment, and maintenance of Exacom Hindsight 4. You will ensure SLAs, on-site installations, and exceptional service to public safety agencies.

Lead with a focus on 24/7 operations, KPIs, and strong client relationships, including PSAPs and dispatch centers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive technical management experience leading technical support and/or field deployment teams.
• Prior experience in public safety, mission-critical environments, telecommunications, or NG911 systems is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary technical teams (remote and on-site).

Responsibilities

• Direct, mentor, and evaluate a dual-function team consisting of Field Engineers.
• Direct planning, scheduling, and execution of on-site hardware and software installations and upgrades.
• Ensure SAT and security compliance; manage backlog of projects to close and generate revenue.
• Refine support workflows and build strong relationships with PSAPs and dispatch centers.

Education

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
