Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a high-performing Technical Field Services Manager to lead post-sales technical services teams responsible for installation, deployment, and maintenance of Exacom Hindsight 4. The role requires ensuring SLAs, on-site installations, and top-tier support for public safety agencies.

You will manage Field Engineers, coordinate with project managers and client IT/dispatch directors, and drive revenue through timely project closures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive technical management experience leading technical support and/or field deployment teams.
• Prior experience in public safety, mission-critical environments, telecommunications, or NG911 systems is strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of VoIP, SIP, RoIP, and audio recording/logging technologies.
• Direct experience with Exacom Hindsight 4 (or similar multi-channel logging solutions) is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct, mentor, and evaluate a dual-function team of Field Engineers with regular 1-on-1s and performance reviews.
• Direct the planning, scheduling, and execution of on-site hardware/software installations, upgrades, and cutovers.
• Refine support workflows and build strong relationships with PSAPs and emergency centers.
• Act as the technical point of contact during system commissioning and go-live events.
