City of Palo Alto is seeking an experienced Records Manager to lead the Police records division, reporting to the Technical Services Deputy Director. This role oversees records management systems, CJIS compliance, and public-safety data integrity.

The ideal candidate will supervise police records staff, manage schedules, and translate state/federal requirements into practical procedures and training materials for sustained governance and accuracy.

Formación

• Experience managing police records functions including criminal records, warrants, case-file processing, data entry, retention and purging, and release of information.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, organizes and directs the work of the records division.
• Ensures compliance with CJIS policies, procedures and security regulations.
• Determines legal requirements and standards relating to the maintenance and release of information.
• Participates in hiring and discipline of Police Records Specialists.
• Acts as Agency Terminal Coordinator to ensure CLETS/NCIC compliance.
