Job summary

Skydio is seeking a Key Account Director, Small City to lead a regional team of Key Account Leaders selling into the public safety segment. You will recruit, coach, and retain top sellers, sharpen deal strategy, and drive funnel discipline to predict regional performance.

This role is remote for the Western U.S. with no personal accounts; you own the region's results and collaborate with Channel, Marketing, and Government Relations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leading quota-carrying sellers as a first-line manager.
• 4+ years total in enterprise software, hardware, or SaaS sales, including complex deals.
• Experience recruiting sellers with a structured process and evidence.
• Experience selling or leading teams into SLED/public safety accounts is a plus.
• Daily, systematic use of AI tools in your own work.

Responsibilities

• Recruit for your region: build a talent pipeline and close the right candidates.
• Coach the team with live field coaching, deal reviews, and feedback.
• Retain top performers with clear development paths and recognition.
• Run the region: manage pipeline, forecast, and cross-functional partnerships.
