Job summary

CCAC's Public Safety Institute on the Main Campus seeks an Assistant Director to help develop, implement, and evaluate public safety programming and related trainings. This Regular Full-Time role supports the Institute's mission and collaborates across departments.

The position requires a bachelor's (or associate) in a related field with EMS field experience, PA EMT/Paramedic certification, and supervisory skills. Evening/weekend hours may be needed to meet department needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or Associate's) in a related field with EMS experience.
• Current PA EMT or Paramedic Certification, EMS-Instructor certification or eligibility.
• Valid PA driver's license and BLS Instructor certification.
• Experience as an emergency responder and in regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates programs offered by the Public Safety Institute.
• Interfaces with CCAC departments and external entities to deliver training.
• Directs and supervises Institute staff.
• Assists with instructor recruitment and student recruitment.
• Monitors enrollment and support services for students.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and accrediting requirements.
