Job summary

El Camino College invites applications for Associate Dean, Public Safety to lead and align Public Safety instructional programs including Administration of Justice, EMT, Fire Academy, Fire Technology, Paramedic, and POST Academies. The role oversees curriculum, scheduling, and program development under the Dean's direction to advance college growth and student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• One year of formal leadership experience in administration.
• Experience with curricula development and program assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the division's long-range plans and curriculum development.
• Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and budget oversight.
• Foster collaboration and customer service culture across units.
• Represent the Dean at college meetings and external boards.
