Northampton Community College (NCC) in Bethlehem, PA seeks a Director of Corporate & Public Safety to provide executive leadership for the college's safety training programs. This on-site role oversees program planning, staffing, compliance, and fiscal management across multiple sites.

The Director will lead grant-funded work, build industry partnerships, supervise staff, and drive revenue while ensuring equity and access in all offerings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in education or a related sector.
• Proven success managing grant-funded programs or contracts and diverse teams.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans with measurable impact and fiscal responsibility.
• Knowledge of employer engagement strategies.
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards, workplace safety and emergency management frameworks (ICS/NIMS).
• Teaching certifications such as CSP or OSHA-related trainer credentials and ICS/NIMS.

Responsabilités

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for Corporate & Public Safety programs.
• Develop and monitor departmental budgets and grant funds.
• Generate revenue through external partnerships and events.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, accreditation, and grant requirements.
• Recruit, supervise, and develop departmental staff.
• Build partnerships with employers, agencies, and educational institutions.
• Lead grant applications, contracts, and partnerships.
• Represent department in governance and external advisory bodies.
• Analyze data to guide optimization and budgeting.
• Report performance and needs to executive leadership.
• Champion equity, inclusion, and access in program design.
