Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer to lead post-sale installation, optimization and maintenance of advanced public safety communications systems. You will ensure high system availability, perform complex troubleshooting, and implement preventative maintenance across transport, RF, and data networks.

The role requires hands-on expertise with P25/JOP3 equipment, NG911 and NICE loggers, and the ability to work with customers and internal teams to design and deploy robust

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Motorola Astro P25 Communications Systems, VHF, UHF, 700/800 Public Safety Radio systems.
• Hands-on experience with P25 radio systems, NICE public safety loggers, LMR RF systems, wired/wireless networks and IT infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, network installation, configuration and maintenance.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and MS Office; ability to train users and create technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test and maintain highly technical communications systems at customer sites.
• Lead NG911 infrastructure installation, optimization, and cutovers.
• Troubleshoot complex alarms, performance issues and system faults.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and service partners to deliver high-availability solutions.
