Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Health System is seeking a Security Dispatcher to operate in the control room, viewing camera monitors, monitoring alarms, and handling emergency and non-emergency calls. You will dispatch Public Safety Officers and maintain daily logs while ensuring security equipment is functional across all facilities.

The role requires multitasking in a high-pressure environment, proficiency with computer systems, and the ability to coordinate with local emergency services.

Qualifications

• CPI certification must be maintained in good standing.
• AED certification must be maintained in good standing.
• Active and valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and dispatch Public Safety Officers to incidents and alarms.
• Monitor multiple camera feeds and alarms from the control room.
• Answer 20–25 calls per hour in a high-volume call center.
• Coordinate with Police/Fire/Rescue as required by the situation.
• Manage badge access levels and maintain security logs and reports.
