Job summary

Nicklaushealth is seeking a Security Dispatcher to work in the control room, monitoring camera feeds, alarms, and multiple phone lines. You will rapidly dispatch Public Safety Officers to incidents and log events in the dispatch system.

The role requires calm, professional communication, English proficiency, and the ability to multi-task in a high‑volume environment; bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Crisis prevention and response skills are required and must be maintained in good standing.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Proficient in computer use and familiar with standard software applications.
• Experience in a hospital or hotel security environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and dispatch Public Safety Officers to emergencies and alarms.
• Monitor alarm systems, doors, and badge access; manage profiles and prints.
• Respond to burglar alerts and coordinate with Police Department as needed.
• Maintain dispatch logs and monitor camera systems for proper action.
• Handle high-volume calls (20–25/hour) with professional conduct.
