Job summary

Nicklaushealth seeks a Security Dispatcher to manage emergency and non-emergency calls from a central control room. You will dispatch Public Safety Officers, monitor alarms and cameras, and maintain logs across facilities.

The role requires handling high-call volumes, coordinating with police and fire departments, and ensuring critical systems are online and responsive. A valid Florida driver’s license and CPI/AED readiness are expected.

Qualifications

• CPI certification must be maintained in good standing within 90 days of hire.
• AED certification must be maintained in good standing within 30 days of hire.
• Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch Public Safety Officers to emergencies and incidents according to priority.
• Handle 20–25 calls per hour in a high-volume center with up to 5 lines.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems; log actions and respond to alarms.
• Communicate with police, fire, and rescue departments as needed.
• Maintain dispatch log and enter data into the TMS system and other logs.
