Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment tests (typing, mathematical, multi-tasking).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Pre-employment testing including psychological, physical, drug testing and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Answering incoming calls (emergency and non-emergency).
• Dispatching appropriate personnel and equipment for police, fire, and EMS.
• Operate and monitor FCC-approved radio transmissions.
• Receive, sort, and file logs and documents.
• Attend trainings and assist in department development.
