Qualifications

• Two years of experience using two-way radio, multi-line telephone, or CAD systems.
• Two years of experience using computer systems for entering, updating, and retrieving information.
• Completion of 60 college credits.
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls: Receive emergency and non-emergency calls, gather essential details, and determine response priorities
• Dispatch information: Relay incident updates to Troopers through radio, telephone, and computer systems
• Coordinate resources: Contact police, fire, ambulance, towing, and other partners to provide incident details and request assistance
• Maintain records: Use various computer systems to access, research, and update public safety information
• Support public inquiries: Respond to questions from citizens regarding department services, operations, and safety concerns
• Assist visitors: Greet station visitors, identify their needs, and provide information or arrange Trooper contact
