Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of voice and data communications analysis, design techniques, and IP Telephony products.
• Advanced knowledge of PBX/Key systems, ACD, IVR and telephone technical problems and solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of state procurement policies, procedures and standards.
• Thorough knowledge of structured cabling systems and industry standards.
• Considerable knowledge of pagers, cellular phones and wireless devices.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret complex manuals and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate repairs of technology systems and office equipment.
• Manage wireless communications devices and related infrastructure.
• Develop technical standards and policies for communications systems.
• Test and troubleshoot equipment to ensure reliability and uptime.
• Serve as a consultant to agency employees on communications systems.
