Motorola Solutions is seeking an AI Manager Language Models to guide the development and deployment of Large Language Model machine learning solutions. You will bridge AI research and production engineering, delivering reliable ML systems with a focus on public safety applications such as 911 handling, dispatch, and case management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of combined experience as a machine learning researcher and/or a post-graduate degree in a quantitative science or engineering.
• Including 2+ years of direct management experience leading technical teams.
• Previous experience managing an LLM-based solution from inception to market.
• Previous experience managing cloud-based software engineering.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of large language model driven machine learning solutions.
• Work across all stages of the machine learning lifecycle, including data curation, model training, deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and feedback.
• Apply knowledge to public safety application areas such as 911 call handling, dispatch, and case management, and enterprise applications in retail, commercial security, and infrastructure management.
• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and research scientists to build scalable machine learning products.
• Create reusable components to support integration between research teams and production engineering.
