Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an AI Manager Language Models to guide the development and deployment of Large Language Model solutions. You will bridge AI research and production engineering to build reliable ML systems focused on public safety applications, including 911 handling, dispatch, and case management.

You will lead a collaborative team across the ML lifecycle, delivering dependable, real-world solutions that aid first responders and safety professionals in enterprise settings.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of combined experience as a machine learning researcher and/or a post-graduate degree in a quantitative science or engineering.
• 2+ years of direct management experience leading technical teams.
• Experience managing an LLM-based solution from inception to market.
• Experience managing cloud-based software engineering.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of large language model driven machine learning solutions.
• Work across all stages of the machine learning lifecycle, including data curation, model training, deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and feedback.
• Apply knowledge to public safety applications such as 911 call handling, dispatch, and case management, and enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and research scientists to build scalable ML products.
• Create reusable components to support integration between research teams and production engineering.
