Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an AI Manager Language Models to guide the development and deployment of Large Language Model ML solutions. This role bridges AI research and production engineering to build reliable ML systems for public safety applications, including 911 dispatch and case management.

You will support a collaborative team across the ML lifecycle, transforming state-of-the-art language tech into dependable, real-world solutions for first responders and safety professionals in public

Qualifications

• 8+ years of machine learning research experience.
• 2+ years of direct management experience.
• Experience managing an LLM-based solution from inception to market.
• Experience managing cloud-based software engineering.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of large language model driven machine learning solutions.
• Work across all stages of the ML lifecycle: data curation, model training, deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and feedback.
• Apply knowledge to public safety areas such as 911 call handling, dispatch, and case management, and enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and research scientists to build scalable ML products.
• Create reusable components to support integration between research teams and production engineering.
