King County is seeking a Term-Limited Temporary Public Records Officer (Administrator I) to lead the Procurement & Payables public records program and provide essential administrative support to the P&P team. The role emphasizes compliance with the Public Records Act, process improvement, and coordination with external offices.

The position, based in Seattle, follows a hybrid model with two days onsite at King Street Center.

Competenze

• Two years of experience in administrative or program support.
• One year of experience with Public Records Act (RCW 42.56) and handling PRRs.
• Excellent customer service to a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience in process improvement and implementing solutions.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.

Mansioni

• Public Records Officer: manage and respond to PRRs under RCW 42.56, coordinating with the Public Records Program and the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
• Provide high-quality administrative support to the Procurement & Payables team, agencies, and suppliers.
• Review, maintain, and streamline SOPs for the admin team with up-to-date documentation.
