Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required, with at least 1 year of general administrative support experience.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to review, prepare and input police reports and licensing documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the public in person, by phone, and by email; resolve inquiries and explain policies.
• Conduct criminal history investigations for licensing purposes (e.g., liquor licenses, concealed weapons licenses, traveling merchant licenses, sex offender and felon registrations).
• Organize and report statistical data; process and disseminate crime reports and related documents.
