Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services seeks a Director of Business Development for the Public Power market. The role leads direct sales of Osmose services and coordinates with Corporate Development and Product Management for team selling.

Hybrid work is required to support the assigned customer base, with a preference for candidates in the NC/VA region, and travel about 50%. The successful candidate will develop annual sales plans, build executive relationships within utilities, and align operations with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (required).
Five (5) years of consultative sales experience.
MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

Initiate and conduct sales calls and presentations to established and prospective customers for all Osmose services and products.
Create relationships with contacts inside each utility at various levels including senior level executives.
Create sales plans and schedules to ensure market coverage with appropriate contact frequency.
Coordinate sales activity with General Managers-Operations to maintain and grow the customer base.
Advise Contracts on proposal language and price recommendations with Operations data.
Work with Operations to align crew availability with project schedules and customer expectations.
Produce annual sales forecasts for assigned accounts and keep them accurate.
Maintain customer and contact information in company systems.
Develop and implement annual plans to improve personal performance and participate in sales/product training.
