Carroll County Public Library invites applications for the position of Executive Director, the chief executive officer responsible for the library’s mission, strategic priorities, and long-term sustainability. The role reports to the seven-member Board of Library Trustees and guides vision across operations, finances, facilities, technology, and personnel.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in library science (ALA-accredited) is required.
• Minimum 5 years as a professional librarian with at least 2 years in an administrative or supervisory capacity.
• Relocation to Carroll County is expected.
