Everett Housing Authority is seeking an Accounting Technician to support the Finance team in processing accounts payable, tenant rents, reconciliations, and reporting. The role reports to the Accounting Manager and works on site in Everett, WA.

The position requires a bachelor’s or equivalent experience, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail. A comprehensive benefits package is provided including vacation, sick leave, holidays, and a retirement plan (PERS).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent communication, composition, grammar, spelling, and math skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Create and utilize complex computerized spreadsheets and reports.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and vendor reconciliations.
• Handle tenant accounting, including rents, deposits, and ledgers.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and reconciliations.
• Assist with data entry and general clerical tasks as needed.
