Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department is seeking a Public Health Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing and clinical staff within the Strengthening Families Division. The role oversees supervision, training, and development to ensure delivery of high‑quality health care and health education to the public.

Regular full‑time position with a starting salary range of $103,958.40–$111,280.00 annually. Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, nursing, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Four years of nursing experience in healthcare or public health.
• Two years of supervisory or lead experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide supervision and technical expertise to ensure disease prevention, investigation, and management services are high-quality.
• Coordinate with facilities, schools, and partners to provide services and support.
• Develop team strategy, manage program contracts, and meet funding deliverables.
• Mentor and coach staff; oversee performance evaluations and disciplinary matters.
• Ensure compliance with Department policies and safety requirements.
