Job summary

King County's Public Health – Seattle & King County is seeking a Personal Health Services Supervisor (PHSS) to lead the First Steps and WIC programs, coordinating care and connecting families to services across multiple sites in Seattle and King County.

The PHSS will supervise multidisciplinary staff, drive quality improvement, support program planning, and ensure compliance with laws and policies while partnering with community organizations and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing or MSN/DNP/PhD from an accredited school.
Washington RN license in good standing.
Washington Driver's License in good standing.
Current BLS-CPR for Healthcare Providers.
Experience in maternal and child health, public health, or community health programs.
Experience supervising staff in healthcare or public health settings.

Responsibilities

Supervise First Steps and WIC staff, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, coaching, and corrective action.
Provide clinical and operational leadership across Public Health Centers, satellite clinics, and community settings.
Plan, implement, and evaluate community health programs and services.
Assess program needs, allocate resources, and coordinate staffing to support effective service delivery.
Monitor quality assurance and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Oversee patient satisfaction surveys and grievance processes; use feedback to improve services.
Facilitate team meetings and training; build relationships with staff and community partners.
