Job summary

King County’s Downtown Public Health Center seeks a Nurse Supervisor to provide leadership and direct supervision for multidisciplinary teams across multiple services. The role emphasizes equitable, client-centered care for diverse populations and requires partnership with Public Health leadership to ensure regulatory and performance standards are met.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing and state RN license.
Experience supervising or leading staff in healthcare/public health.

Responsibilities

Provide direct supervision to multidisciplinary staff across programs at the Downtown Public Health Center.
Lead planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of assigned programs and services.
Monitor service delivery, staffing, workload, and performance to identify improvement opportunities.
Support workforce development, training, and professional growth for staff.
Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and program requirements.
Contribute to budget development and reporting, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
