Job summary

Arizona Department of Health Services in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Licensing Coordinator to review and process initial, renewal, and change applications for facility and individual licenses within the Division of Public Health Licensing Services, Bureau of Radiation.

Under supervision, you’ll handle licensing decisions, payments, and mail processing, while communicating with licensees, applicants, and other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Regulatory principles and state/federal licensing laws.
• Policy and procedures for licensing, applications, and inspections.
• Problem-solving techniques.
• Proficiency with computers and software (Office, Access, Excel).
• Knowledge of PM, CQI and Lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Review complex applications and process them per statutes using electronic systems.
• Provide timely responses to technical questions from licensees and the public.
• Process incoming/outgoing mail, correspondence, and payments per policy.
• Complete administrative duties and support licensing projects as assigned.
• Perform other duties as related to the position.
