Job summary

Arizona Department of Health Services seeks a Licensing Coordinator in Phoenix to review and process initial, renewal, and change applications for facility and individual licenses within the Division of Public Health Licensing Services.

Under general supervision, issues licenses and deficiency notices, responds to technical questions, and ensures compliance with state statutes and agency policies. Strong focus on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• Regulatory principles and state/federal licensing regulations.
• Experience with licensing workflows and regulatory processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Review complex applications and process licensing in accordance with statutes and policies.
• Provide timely responses to technical questions from licensees and the public.
• Process mail and payments per policy.
• Perform clerical support for licensing projects as assigned.
• Other duties related to the position.
