Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1 year of related customer contact experience.
• Preferred: 4 years customer contact experience or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office software.
• Ability to enter a high volume of data accurately and work independently.
• Strong customer service skills across diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Determines initial and renewal eligibility for public assistance programs (SNAP, Medicaid, TANF).
• Processes applications, reviews, hearings, and changes per policies.
• Registers online applications, renewals, and verifications via Georgia Gateway.
• Records and evaluates applicant data.
• Documents call information per SOPs.
• Keys in data using standard office hardware/software.
• Assists LEPSI by coordinating with Language Line.
• Works per assigned schedule and can handle multiple queues.
• Provides professional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
