Job summary

Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa in Orlando, FL is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a team, assign duties, and monitor performance to meet service standards and guest satisfaction.

You will manage labor, track progress on projects, communicate with guests and staff, and participate in meetings. 1-2 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping is required; physical tasks and mobility with a mobile device are involved. Growth opportunities across Westgate Resorts.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in housekeeping, janitor services or facilities cleaning.
• Must be able to regularly lift, pull, push, and move up to 35 pounds.
• Must be able to use a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate housekeeping team members, including staffing, training, discipline, scheduling, and monitoring performance to ensure adherence to service and productivity standards and total guest satisfaction.
• Assign duties and review work for accuracy, neatness, and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Complete assigned projects monthly and track progress.
• Supervise daily and weekly labor and manage departmental expenses.
• Communicate effectively with guests and employees, both verbally and in writing, providing clear direction and guidance to staff.
• Organize, conduct, or attend meetings to share and receive pertinent information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
