Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a Skilled Nursing Facility assignment. You will assist in delivering physical therapy under the supervision of a PT, focusing on mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.

New grads are welcome, with options for 13-week contracts or permanent placement. Housing and travel stipends are available for travelers, and weekly pay is provided to contract staff.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license/certification in the state of employment (New grads welcome).
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced SNF setting.
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing physical therapy services under the direction of a PT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals.
• Focus on mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and safety techniques.
