Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Skilled Nursing Facility position. The contract is 13 weeks with an option to extend, or a permanent placement. Shifts are days, with a competitive hourly rate plus housing and travel stipends for travelers.

New grads are welcome. Must hold an active PTA license in the state, have BLS/CPR, and be able to pass a TB test. You will assist PT, implement treatment plans, and support mobility and function with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in the state of employment (or ability to obtain).
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• TB test/results current.
• Fitness for duty within the past year.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing physical therapy services under a PT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals.
• Focus on mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for best outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and safety techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
