Job summary

FullShift Staffing seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility in a travel-friendly role. The position offers a 13-week contract with potential for extension or permanent placement, days shift, and competitive pay with housing and travel stipends for travelers.

New grads welcomed; you will assist PTs, implement treatment plans, focus on mobility and independence, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license/certification in the state of employment (or ability to obtain).
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Current TB test/results.
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year).

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing physical therapy services under the direction of a PT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals.
• Focus on mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and safety techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
