Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a proactive Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for assignments in Skilled Nursing Facilities. The role supports therapists, implements treatment plans, and focuses on mobility, strength, balance, and independence for patients.

New grads are welcome, with options for 13-week contracts or permanent placements. Travel opportunities include housing and stipends, with a supportive team guiding onboarding to completion.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license/certification in the state of employment (or ability to obtain).
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Current TB test/results.
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year).

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing physical therapy services under the direction of a PT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals.
• Focus on mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and safety techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
