Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a Skilled Nursing Facility. The position offers a 13‑week contract with an option to extend or a permanent placement, with days shifts and a competitive hourly pay plus housing and travel stipends for travelers.

New grads are welcome. You will support PT under supervision, implement treatment plans, and focus on mobility, strength, balance, and independence while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and maintaining

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in the state of employment (or ability to obtain).
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Current TB test/results.
• Current physical showing fitness for duty within the past year.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing PT services under the direction of a PT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals.
• Focus on mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for best outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and safety techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
