Job summary

FullShift Staffing seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a skilled nursing facility assignment in the United States. The contract can be 13 weeks with option to extend or a permanent placement, with days shifts and travel-friendly terms.

New grads are welcomed, and compensation includes hourly pay plus housing and travel stipends for travelers, enabling flexible work arrangements and meaningful patient impact.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license/certification in the state of employment (new grads welcome).
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Current TB test/results.
• Current physical fit for duty (within past year).

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing physical therapy services under the direction of a PT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals.
• Focus on mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and safety techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
