Job summary

FullShift Staffing seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for assignments in skilled nursing facilities. This role supports patients under a PT, focusing on mobility, strength, balance, and independence across patient care plans.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license/certification in the state of employment (or ability to obtain) - New grads welcome!
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Current TB test/results
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year)

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing physical therapy services under the direction of a PT
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals
• Focus on mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes
• Educate patients and families on exercises and safety techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
