Job summary

Progressive Rehab Solutions is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our clinical team in a long-term care setting. You will assist the Physical Therapist with patient rehabilitation, implementing treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's Degree and an active PTA license; one year of rehab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an accredited PTA program is required.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required and must be maintained.
• Clinical experience in rehabilitation or long-term care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist for individual or group therapy.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and endurance.
• Provide gait training, transfer training, and therapeutic exercise programs.
