PACS Group is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Physical Therapist in delivering resident-focused care in Ridgecrest, CA. The role emphasizes compliance, accurate documentation, and patient safety.

You will work within an interdisciplinary team, assist with treatment plans, educate residents and families, and help coordinate equipment needs while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient in computer skills such as Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Language Skills: Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to read and comprehend policy and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers and families.
• Mathematical Skills: Fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.

Responsabilités

• Treat residents as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and Rehabilitation meetings as needed.
• Remain in accordance with California Laws and Regulations for PTAs.
• Assist nursing with training Restorative Aides.
• Communicate with supervising PT for updates to physicians and staff.
• Provide in-services on training programs for staff.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
• Recommend and facilitate ordering of necessary durable medical equipment.
