Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to evaluate and treat patients of all ages. You will educate patients and families, modify plans of care with the supervising therapist, and document care in the EMR.

Role offers a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for eligible candidates. Must have PTA license (IDFPR IL) and BLS; ongoing education is required to maintain credentials and program compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required in PTA or related program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) per IDFPR (IL).
• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA) and ongoing CE compliance.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, and staff using effective teaching methods.
• Follows and adjusts plan of care after communicating with evaluating therapist.
• Document daily notes per policy; complete required clinical documentation.
• Complete annual education for DNV Hip and Knee Program if applicable.
• Coordinate therapy interventions with PT and communicate progress to referring providers.
