Job summary

Creative Solutions In HealthCare is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. You will administer medically prescribed PT treatments, implement plans of care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, and help residents improve mobility, strength, and quality of life.

Requirements include an active Texas PTA license and current licensure status. SNF or long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas PTA license.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments under PT supervision.
• Provide skilled PT services and interventions per physician orders.
• Respond to requests and relay information to the PT.
• Implement and modify plans of care under PT supervision.
• Measure and record patients' motor function, strength, and performance.
• Monitor patient response and adjust approaches with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Ensure documentation complies with policies and regulations.
• Attend meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
