Job summary

Creative Solutions In HealthCare is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team PRN. You will administer prescribed PT treatments to enhance mobility and function, under supervision of a Physical Therapist, in a skilled nursing setting.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas PTA license, have strong communication and teamwork skills, and are comfortable with documentation and state/federal compliance. SNF experience is preferred, and in-house rehab options are available.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Texas PTA license.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current physical therapy treatment practices.
• Proficient in documentation and compliant with policies.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to improve mobility, strength and function.
• Provide skilled PT services under PT supervision.
• Respond to service requests and relay information to PT.
• Implement and modify plans of care under PT supervision.
• Measure and record motor function, strength, and performance.
• Monitor patient response and adjust approaches with the team.
