Job summary

Creative Solutions In HealthCare is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a PRN basis at our Texas facility. You will provide person-centered care to help residents improve mobility, strength, and quality of life under PT supervision.

Ideal candidates hold a valid Texas PTA license and have knowledge of current PT practices. SNF or long-term care experience is preferred; familiarity with Net Health EDS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Texas PTA license in good standing with regulatory boards.
• Knowledge of current physical therapy treatment practices.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with varying needs and personalities.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide PT services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Report and relay information to the PT and interdisciplinary team.
• Implement and modify plans of care per PT guidance.
• Document patient progress and outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with policies.
