Job summary

Creative Solutions In HealthCare in Texas is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. You will provide person-centered care to help residents improve mobility, strength, and overall quality of life under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities include administering prescribed treatments, relaying information to the PT, and documenting progress with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and restore function.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Record and monitor patients' motor function and progress.
• Ensure timely documentation in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and educate patients and caregivers.
• Attend meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
